RANGITAIKI PLAINS DELEGATES
WIN FOR EDGECUMBE The combined country schools held their second athletic meeting at Otakiri again last week. Organised by the staff and committee of the Otakiri School the meeting was an outstanding success. Four schools, Edgecumbe, Awakeri, Te Teko and Otakiri entered a full list of competitors for the 30 events on the programme.
The aggregate number of points gained by each school were as follows: Edgecumbe 80, Otakiri 77£, Te Teko 70 h, Awakeri 43. The results of the separate events were as follows: A—Awakeri. E—Edgecumbe. O—Otakiri. T.T.—Te Teko.
