A Victorious Tour

Mr Conza, a Te Aroha trainer, who evidently believes that it pays to travel, has just completed a tour of some weeks in the West Coast of the South Island. With Race Lad, Vonette, Glamic Pal, St. Nat and Home Again, he won sixteen events and a number of placings. At Te Rapa he won the last race with Home Again, which he considered very appropriate and lost no time in getting his team ready for the homeward journey.

A Definite Bargain The Australian stallion, Lawrence, was sold at auction in Melbourne last week for the record sum of £9500. As a yearling he was secured for 350 guineas and has won in stakes £13,814. There is money in the game when they win.

The Cambridge Racing Club A certificate of registration has been granted by the N.Z. Racing Conference to the newly formed Cambridge Racing Club, which has scored on the leading point. Revolte, winner of the Tanakoa Hack at Trentham, was bred at Waimana. He is by Revelation, by Manna an English Derby winner, from Race Fox, a full sister to the Auckland CJup winner, Foxwyn.

A Hardy Thoroughbred The rising 12 year old Native Song a half-brother by Hunting Song to Kindergarten, has again been put into work at Riccarton in view of winter jumping events. Perfectly sound in wind and limb and possessing a robust constitution, age may be no bar to his winning chances. A Valuable Mare

At a sale of thoroughbreds last week the mare Franciful by Foxbridge—Fantastic, with a filly foal by Tweed 11. was secured at 1500 guineas by Mrs Alister Williams, of Masterton.

A Winning Line Pola, by Whirlwind—Cometary, winner of the Waikato Hack Cup at Te Rapa, and the Champion Hack Handicap at Trentham within / the last fortnight, is a half-brother to Bright Fox,, a winner on the flat and over the battens at Trentham
