Health Inspectors Salaries
A letter from the Health Department to the Borough Council points out that a new basis of local contribution towards the salaries of Health Inspectors is imperative in view of the rising cost of living and extended areas covered by the officers concerned. By way of meeting the position in the Eastern Bay of Plenty, the County Council has convened a meeting of Opotiki County and Borough representatives, and Whakatane County and Borough representatives, which will be held on Monday next.
