RESULT OF POLL 875 VOTES RECORDED The result of yesterday’s Licensing poll for the Eastern Bay of Plenty area resulted as under:— .F. Pile (Opotiki) 697A. Nicol (Whakatane) 521 O. H. Coleman (Rotorua) 447 T. Jackson (Rotorua) 446 E. G. Guy (Rotorua) 439 S. A. Pethybridge (Rotorua)
185 E. O. Mason (Rotorua) 170
From the above it would seem obvious that Messrs. Pile, Nicol, Coleman, Jackson and Guy have been the successful candidates and will constitute the next Licensing Committee for this district.

Rotorua: Coleman 208, Guy 208, Jackson 213, Mason 98, Nicol 173, Pethybridge 141, Pile 159.
Opotiki: Coleman 87, Guy 88, Jackson 81, Mason 30, Nicol 127, Pethybridge 22, Pile 310. Whakatane: Coleman 94, Guy 94, Jackson 96, Mason 14, Nicol 134, Pethybridge 6, Pile 138. Ngongotaha: Coleman 12, Guy 5, Jackson 8, Mason 6, Nicol 6, Pethybridge 13, Pile 4. Edgecumbe: Coleman 16, Guy 19, Jackson 15, Mason 10, Nicol 29, Pethybridge 4, Pile 31.
