Market For Rabbitskins
“There is a big demand for New Zealand rabbitskins in the United States,” said Mr R. T. Simpson, a Christchurch businessman who has just returned from a trip to America. “Both long haired and clipped pelts are regularly sought by furriers, who find that the New Zealand rabbit fur is superior to the American type in texture and durability. These pelts are manipulated with amazing skill and the final result in the finished garment is delightful.”
