WORLD AFFAIRS By J. Wickham Steed ■■- ■ « Sir, —The people of New Zealand have the opportunity once a week, at 1.30 p.m. each Sunday of listening to one of the world’s greatest exponents of world affairs. How is it, when electrical repairs need attention in the Borough, that this particular time is always chosen by the head of the Borough Electricity Department. Would it matter very much if the current on Sundays was switched off a quarter of an hour later instead of at 1.30 p.m. I am speaking for many residents. Yours etc., “RATEPAYER.”
