Maori Relics Found Three Maori relics were brought to the office of the Bay of Plenty Times by Mr C. T. Allingham who stated that one seemed to be an old Maori spade, known as a koe. This he thought, from the markings, had been carved by a stone axe. The three relics were found on the property of Mr Henderson, of Tauriko. Two were discovered packed under a log in a swamp, the log being practically covered by water and silt.
