Sea Scouts Parade
Arrangements for the weekend camp on the Rarimas Islands will be completed at a special parade of Sea Scouts at the residence of Mr C. Kingsley-Smith, tomorrow evening (Thursday) at 7.30 p.m. ~L—TiZHsJuSsI An Agreeable Surprise One of our, busy housewives had a pleasant surprise in store for her over the weekend. In the rush of business and other worries she suddenly realised to her dismay that she had not secured the meat for the family’s weekend meals, and on arrival home was about to break the dismal fact, when she was greeted with the cheering news that she had won the perfectly prepared dinner at a raffle conducted in Edgecumbe, and there it was, awaiting her.
