Infant Mortality
The chief of the United States Labour Department's Children's Bureau, in a speech at a women's conference, said recently: "Between Pearl Harobur and V.J. Day, 430,000 U.S. babies died for lack of medical arid hospital care. This was- more than the number of Americans killed in action."
