Harbour Board Picnic Today
The annual picnic and launch excursion of the Whakatane Harbour Board takes place today, and members of local bodies who have been invited will be taken to Ohiwa harbour where a pause will be made for lunch. The outing serves a very useful purpose in that Board members are kept conversant with the coast and harbour reaches within the Whakatane area.
