PUBLIC NOTICES INCOME TAX PAYABLE In accordance with Order in Council dated 18th September 1946 issued under the Land and Income Tax Act, 1923, and the Land and Income Tax (Annual) Act 1946, I hereby notify that the Income Tax leviable under section 3 of the latter Act is payable at any office of the Land and Income Tax Department or at any money-order post office, in one sum on Wednesday, the 12th February, 1947 and that additional tax accrues if not paid by sth March, 1947. Liability not suspended by any objection, and tax must be paid by the prescribed date to avoid additional percentage; any overpayment will be refunded. Demands will be issued on or about sth February, 1947 and must be presented with all payments. Taxpayers who do not receive an expected demand should communicate with the Superintendent of the office of the Land and Income Tax Department where the taxpayer’s records are filed.
