A GOVERNMENT RESPONSIBILITY FEDERATED FARMERS VIEWS At the meeting of the Bay of Plenty branch of the N.Z. Federated Farmers (Auckland Province) last Wednesday the following motion was carried: ‘That in view of the general position regarding the waterfront dispute, this branch of Federated Farmers is not in favour of any farmers organisation assisting the Government by the use of free labour, considering that the whole matter is a responsibility for the Government to shoulder.’
