JUST THOUGHTS
As we go along life’s way the years come and go, the older one gets, the faster times goes, or seems to. If we have found our job the years pass happily enough provided we do not get self-centered. The experience of many of our predecessors is that “God is” and that He is a rewarder of those that .all gently seek Him. In the fullness of time Jesus Christ came and told men of His day on earth, that He came to reveal the will of God to man and pointed a way of life to mankind that was spiritual rather than temporal but so simple and plain that the wayfaring man, though he be a fool, need not ere therein. Christ said of Himself that He came to Earth as a redeemer of men to save them from sin and wickedness. It seems obvious that to do so He must of necessity be all powerful and represent all the attributes of God. Christians are those folk who put faith in His word and accept the record given of Him by those folk who believed on Him during His life on earth. This record is contained in our Bible together with His teaching as propounded by His apostles and diciples. There is no doubt in the minds of His followers that He is God’s son. God incarnate in the flesh, that He is a great fact, that He represents the power and wisdom of God that He and His Father are one that His message and will concerning man cannot be improved upon and the wisest and best thing man can do is to accept Him and His message and trust Him with his affairs. The world at large has not done this; only those who follow Him therefore can become partakers with Him in His spiritual Kingdom and to them He has promised that they will also become partakers in His Earthly Kingdom when He comes again to establish His rule upon earth. If any man wishes he may become a partaker in Christ’s Kingdom.
The way is made clear in the New Testament in our Bible. Read it for yourself and you will never regret doing so.
Jesus Christ is not a mystery He is the greatest fact in all history. Our country needs upright men and women who will strive to put righteousness and justice first. What about helping. Now is a good time to start if you have not yet considered this matter.
