Appreciated Gift
A Wellington trariiway motofman who sent a food parcel to his opposite number in the London tramways some months ago has received a letter of thanks and appreciation in the warmest terms from the recipient. The writer stated that it had been decided to postpone using the contents of the parcel until Christmas; in the meantime, their mouths were watering at the thought of the beef dripping and other “luxuries” that would be available to supplement the normal “rather restricted” supplies for their Christmas dinner.
