Bay Tennis Championships
In the finals of the Ladies Singles in the Bay of Plenty Tennis Championships played at Tauranga recently, Miss Judy Burke (Rangitaiki) won from Miss L. Kirk (Tauranga) 6—3, 6—l. Observers claim that Miss Burke showed remarkable ability and staying powers, and prophesy a future for her in the tennis world.
