Motor Cyclist Injured

An unusual accident was sustained by a motor cyclist, Mr Ivan Burt of Stratford, when his machine struck the concrete abuttments to the overhead bridge at Matata and he was thrown to the road. He was admitted to the Whakatane Hospital suffering from superfluous injuries and is now reported to be making satisfactory progress.
