Envelope From Map
The envelope in which Mrs S. D. Ives, of Papanui, Christchurch, received. a letter from England recently, disclosed, when opened, a colourful interior and a useful means ef disposing of unwanted Army property. The envelope had been made out of a section of large scale British Army map of Poland. In the United States, the almost indestructible paper on which military maps were printed is now being used as backing for mesh-reinforced roughcast house walls.
