CALF JUDGING

OTAKIRI SCHOOL RECORD ENTRIES RECEIVED Once again Otakiri received record entries in the school calf competitions. The results this year must have been very satisfying to the sub-committee which controls this part of the school’s activities. The judging of calves was ably carried out by Mr W. J. Murray and the leading competition was judged by Mr J. Carr. Pets were judged by Mrs J. Carr and lambs by Mr A. Woodberry. Ladies served afternoon tea. The results were as follows:Senior Light Breed (26 entries): John Williams 1, Geoff Fufford 2, Esther Barfler 3, Dawn Bunn 4.
