A CHILD'S XMAS CAROL

With all the singing children, The lovely singing crowd, I’ll sing my Christmas carol, And sing it sweet and loud. For though I cannot hear them, Ten thousand sing tonight, That Christ Was born in Bethlehem, When a gold star was bright. Oh, many a girl in a castle, And many a village boy, Sings with me of the Birthday, The Manger and the Joy. And many a babe in sunshine, And many a babe in snow, Is singing of the Baby, The littlest one may know. Oh, Jesus, when Thou hearest The carols gay and fair, From happy hosts that greet Thee, I, too, my Lord, am there. The Christmas Love and Mystery Are wrapping me about; I, too, will sing Thy praises, I could not be left out.
