IN MEMORIAM
STEWART. Robert Oliphant, aged 21, killed in action at El Gazala, December 16th, 1941, and also Horton Oliphant, killed in action May 27th, 1941, Suda Bay, Crete. A proud and loving remembrance of our beloved sons who gave their all that we might live in peace and to all those brave and gallant sons who sacrificed their lives for us we offer our silent tribute. 'This day they sleep so far away . •Beyond our green-clad shores; They neither hear our songs of praise Nor see our Beacon fires. They neither stir within their sleep, Nor- turn to rise to see If we should hallow or make cheap Their blood-bought Victory. This day they are deaf to all our praise ’ And blind to all our tears But deeds they did and dreams they dreamed ■ .. Shall haunt us down the years. Ever remembered by their lonely Parents and Family.
