TANEATUA v P. & T

Taneatua gained an eight point victory over P. & T. The latter side on winning the toss, put Taneatua in to bat. Taneatua were all out for 240 at the luncheon adjournment. Fisher, the opening batsman for P. & T., was unlucky. After surviving an appeal by the keeper for being stumped, McGougan’s second ball sent him back to the pavilion. In a little over an hour, P. & T. were all out for 55.

P. &■ T: followed on s again and Rivett and McGoug'an continued to play havoc with the batsmen, dismissing them all for 88 runs. This gave Taneatua an outright win by 97 runs. Following are the scores in detail:—
