Enjoyable matches at the Club’s greens at Apanui were experienced by members of the Whakatane Bowling Club during the weekend. Although the weather was dull and overcast, there was no rain to marr the proceedings. Results recorded were as under:—

, On Sunday, the tournament postponed from Labour Day took place. Sixteen teams took part, and some close matches resulted. Following were the respective scores:— Section ‘A’: Tippett 6 wins; P.
