“LOVE IN IDLENESS”

Next Wednesday at the Grand Theatre, heralds the first of Whitehall Productions Ltd’s shows in New Zealand. It is a sparkling comedy, “Love In Idleness,” by the wellknown author, Terence Rattigan, who was the author of such wellknown successes as “French Without Tears,” “While the Sun Shines,” and “Flare Path.” The company is headed by Kathleen Robinson —who, by the way, toured New Zealand as a girl with Dame Sybil Thorndyke —and Richard Parry; with the> wellknown Minnie Love, Rod Douglas, Gordon Chater, Daphne Winslow and Jessica Noacl, The company has had a remarkable run at His Majesty’s Theatre, Auckland. The box plan is at Armstrong’s, where early booking is strongly recommended.
