WHAKATANE MEN’S CLUB Any member not, Laving finished their knock-out matches are requested to have them played not later than Saturday. On Sunday the finals of the Men’js Championships will be played commencing at 9 a.rn. In the Seniors, Cradwick plays Pattison, R. E. Butler umpiring in the morning and C. A. Suckling in the afternoon Intermediates, Alexander plays the winner of Bridger and Wylds, umpire L. Roach. Juniors, Bushett plays White, umpire A. Morpeth. WHAKATANE TOURNAMENT $ RECORD ENTRIES Accommodation in Whakatane is fully taxed for the Golf Tournament to be held on Labour weekend. Owing to the large number of entries (127) already received from all parts of the North Island, it has been found necessary to play to the clock.

The. two qualifying rounds will be played on .Saturday, October starting in fours from Nos. 1 and 10 tees at 8.15 a.m. and following at five-minute intervals.
