ELECTIONEERING CAMPAIGN SPEAKERS FOR BOTH PARTIES Arrangements have now been finalised for many of the principal candidates in the coming election to have speeches broadcast. Details are as follows, with others to be announced later: — Friday, October 18: Mr F. W. Doidge (National, Tauranga), from Auckland, 6.45 p.m., all stations. Monday, October 21: Mr S. G. Holland, Opposition Leader, from Christchurch, seven stations. Tuesday, October 22: Minister of Finance, Mr . Nash, from Hutt, 2YA and 4YA. Wednesday, October 23: Mr M. IT. Oram (National, Manawatu), Feilding, 2YA and 4YA. Friday, October 25: Mr T. H. McCombs (Labour, Lyttelton), 6.45 p.m., from Christchurch studio, 15 minutes, seven stations.
Friday, October 25: Mr J. T. Watts (National, Riccarton), 7 p.m., from Christchurch studio, 15 minutes, seven stations. ■ *
Thursday, October 31: Mr K. J. Holyoake (National, Pahiatua), public meeting, Dannevirke, 8 p.m., 2YA and 3YA.
Friday? November Mr C. M. Bowden " (National, Wellington West), studio broadcast, 6.45 p.m., 15 minutes.
Monday, November" 4: Mr T. L. Macdonald (National, Mataura) public meeting, Gore, 8 p.m., 2YA and 4YA.
Full 'arrangements provide for each party to have seven broadcasts from public meetings and three quarter-hour and three half-hour studio broadcasts.
