THE NUREMBERG TRIALS

History’s longest trial, For history’s greatest crime; Ne’er were criminals more guilty, Ne’er did justice take more time In dealing with each separate case, Of those who justice did disgrace; With a cruel disregard for life, In a barbariously conducted strife, That spared neither old or young, But starved and tortured, shot and hung Thousands with a sadist’s delight, For demonstrating their fiendish might, To release the barabas of finance, Is giving Schact another chance To exercise his deadly skill, The warmongers coffers to fill, Regardless of the loss of life, And the agony of world-wide strife; Their sole desire is sordid gain, The aftermath of human pain, In spite of what the Statesmen say, Money had power to say yea or nay, To every war that has been recorded, Which fact makes wealth, so base and sordid, Unless its owners are inspired With the love of Him, who is death desired That all men should follow His maxim true, Do to others as ye would they should do to you. I-I. SERGANT.
