INDOOR BASKETBALL

BAY OF PLENTY CHAMPIONSHIPS

TOMORROW’S FIXTURES The Bay of Plenty Indoor Basketball Championships will be played at the Winter Show Buildings tomorrow, Saturday, October 12, play commencing at 1 p.m. A total of sixteen teams representing Whakatane, Rotorua, Tauranga and Te Puke will take part, and the contests to decide the champion men’s and ladies’ teams of the Bay promise plenty in the way of thrills and excitement.

The last championship staged in Whakatane will no doubt be well remembered by the large number of spectators in attendance.
