BRIGHT INTERLUDE

. SCHOOL CHILDREN ENTERTAINED A bright interlude came for a number of school children immediately after school had closed for the day on when four members of the cast of the Eastern Follies Vaudeville Company attended at the Domain and gave a brief performance. Wee Quong, the juggler and conjurer with the show made mystified looks appear on the young faces around him, and eyes pop, as he balanced a spinning bowl J atop of length of cane. Two of the Tinkler troupe of juvenile contortionists, George (aged 3) and Audrey (aged 6) performed, and they were followed by By Ko who caused much merriment by riding round and round the circle of kiddies on a one-wheeled bicycle. The show was limited to minutes, but the youthful audience enjoyed every second.
