LEARN-TO-ROW WEEK
NEXT Monday will mark the commencement of the Learn-to-Row'Week initiated by the Whakatane Rowing Club. The Club which has been given a new impetus with the return of so many of its old members from the Armed Forces, is planning to make this manly type of sport more popular than ever in Whakatane. Young men and youths., and we understand ladies too, if they so desire will be given special facilities for instruction and training. The new recruits are requested to get in touch with club members or the Secretary, Mr Don Stewart.
