WHAKATANE ORCHESTRAL SOCIETY
-The Whakatane Orchestral Society is seeking new talent. In a towri with as many undoubtedly versatile musicians, both amateur and - professional, as this, it should not be hard to find. It will be remembered that the Society was reformed by a group of interested people some months .J, ago, and since that date it has given some enjoyable items at. concerts and other social gatherings. The-! - ‘ number of active members is at present ten, but it is hoped that this will be increased in the pear future. The next meeting of'the Society —' takes place in the Methodist Hall at 7.30 p.m. tomorrow evening, and all interested are urged to attend. " A
