TANEATUA GUN CLUB LARGE ENTRIES RECORDED The Taneatua Rod and Gun Club held a highly successful clay bird shoot on Messrs. Davies Bros, property last. Sunday. Parkinson, R. S. Ricketts and R. Stephenson tied with 9 birds each. In the shoot off Parkinson won on his 15th bird, R. S. Ricketts second and R. Stephenson third. 30 entries. No. 4 Second £25 Handicap (10 birds): M. Matchitt and D. 1 King, shot 9 birds each and divided the first and second money. Seven tied for third with 8 birds and divided. 28 entries. No. 5 Double Fire Sweepstake: E. Pratt and A. J. Brown shot 7 birds each and divided. 30 entries. No. 6 Sweepstake (5 birds): M. Matchitt, E. L. Lever, J. Parkinson and C. Matchitt made the possible and divided the . prize. 37 entries. No. 7 Farewell Sweepstake 5 birds): S. Kerr, J. Tebbutt, J. Parkinson made the possible and divided the money. 18 entries.
