Results of championship matches played last week were: “B” Mrs Dawson beat Mrs Dewar; Mr.s Otley beat Mrs Sloane; Mrs Suckling beat Miss Carter; Mrs Winstone beat Miss Hyland. “C” Miss Campbell beat Miss McLeod; Miss Suckling beat Mrs Fennell. Matches to be played before the following Wednesday are: Mrs Dawson v Mrs Otley; Mrs Suckling v Mrs Winstone. Flight Matches: Mrs Combes v winner of Mrs Fraser v Miss Robins; Mrs Pearse v winner of Miss Otley and Mrs Fogerty. The final of championship which were to have been played on Saturday sth instant have now been postponed until Saturday 12th inst. Thursday Te Puke Visit The team to play against Te Puke on Thursday, October 3, will be selected from the following: Mrs Symmans, Miss Black, Mrs Berg, Mrs Boon, Mrs Combes, Mrs Dawson, Mrs Dewar, Mrs Sloane, Mrs Fogerty, Mrs Otley, Miss Hyland, Mrs Winstone, Miss Wilson, Mrs Breckon; Mrs Connell, Mrs Donaldson, Mrs Frasei’, Mrs Jarrett, Mrs McCowan, Mrs Otley, Miss Righton, Miss Reynolds, Mrs Spence, Mrs Suckling, Mrs Rangi, Mrs 'Hay, Mrs Ker, Mrs Fennell' and Miss Armstrong. Any player unable to play on that day must inform the secretary or Mrs Winstone as early as possible.
