YOUTH RALLY

GATHERING ON SUNDAY THE MILDMAY MISSION Special arrangements have been made for a Rally of local organisations to attend a parade and service on Sunday next. The event will coincide with the Mildmay Mission now being conducted in the town by Mr A. Williams. Mustering at Pohaturoa Rock at 2 p.m. all units will march to the Parish Hall, where the special service will be conducted. The Whakatane Caledonian Society’s Pipe Band will head the parade, which will include Girl Guides, Scouts, Cubs, Boys Brigade, Life Boys, St. John Cadets, Sunday School Pupils, Bible Class Students and in short all youth organisations from town and district. An invitation has also been extended to members of the Young Caledonian’s Club to attend.

In the event of wet weather all units will proceed direct to the hall.
