SATURDAYS PROSPECTS After holding its gatherings at Ellerslie for the past five years owing to its property being used for military purposes, the Avondale Racing Club will revert to its own course this week. Likely to be keenly supported are the following:— Trial Handicap: Chaka, Dumbarton; Desert Control, Battle Cruiser. September Hurdles: Hunto, Slavonik Betterman. Henderson Handicap: Broiealice, Sahib, Flying Duke. Avondale Cup: Chung Chong, Findon, Hippodrome. Avondale Stakes: Vetan, Ninnod, Ticotime. Swanson Handicap: Horonui, Brantome, Bettermusk. Flying Handicap; Tiger, Tan, Theophilus, Majesty. Borough Handicap: Brockton, Gay Lally, Balgowan.
