PRICES AT WAIMANA HORSES IN DEMAND Messrs. Dalgety and Co. Ltd., report as follows on the stock sale held at Waimana on August 30:— „ The full advertised numbers of stock came forward and sold readily to a full and representative bench of buyers. The advertised working horses on account of Mr Mitchell realised from £24 to £3l while a brood mare and foal sold for £6. Small choice quality dairy heifers made from £7 15s to £lO 10s; cows in milk up to £l2 10s; cows to calve £11; yearling Jersey heifers £4 17s 6d to £5 7s; store and boner cows £3 2s 6d to £5.
