Growers are reminded that the Ist Auckland Wool Sale will be held on Monday, 23rd September. The New Zealand Wool Disposal Commission has ' requested that Growers forward as much wool as possible for auction at the September Sale, in view of the likelihood of congestion later in the season. Brokers would appreciate receiving all available wool for the Ist Sale, as this will facilitate the handling of the Clip during the rest of the season. All wool for this Sale should be in Brokers’ Stores at least SEVEN DAYS BEFORE the sale date, as J. O. Valuers have to fix the reserve price for each line before the arrival of the Wool Buyers; consequently, catalogues will have to close early. The return to auction conditions after six years of Appraisals will present many difficulties, but with the co-operation of Growers, these will be overcome. J. E. CONNOR, 264 Secretary.
