Mrs S. N. Armstrong Jun. ,of Hillcrest, left last Monday for an extended Australian holiday. She is accompanied by her two small daughtei’s and expects to be away for six months visiting her family and relatives. Mr Ted Hughes who for the past four years has been a well-known member of the staff of the Whakatane Road Services, has received notification of his transfer to Paeroa as Senior Officer. He leaves on Monday next. Friends of both Mr and Mrs Hughes join in wishing them well in their new sphere.
