TAURANGA' ELECTORATE

MR D. A. HILL The Labour Party’s candidate for the Tauranga electorate in the approaching general elections is Mr Dudley A. Hill, who unsuccessfully contested this seat at the last general election held on September 25, 1943. At the last election, Mr Hill polled 3325 votes, Mr L. R. Wilkinson (Independent) 397 and Mr H. J. Angus (Real Democracy Movement) 355, while Mr F. W. Doidge received 6719 votes. Mr Doidge will again represent the National Party.
