TANEATUA FAREWELL

POPULAR SCHOOL TEACHER -A A pleasant afternoon was spent at the Taneatua School one day last week when members of the School Committee and their wives joined with the children and teaching staff to bid farewell to Miss Judy Baxter, who has been a member of the staff for the past two years. Mr C. Brown, Chairman of the School Committee, and Mr Oliver, Headmaster, both expressed regret at Miss Baxter’s impending departure and wished her success and happiness in her new position. Two little girls of Miss Baxter’s class made a presentation of a leather suitcase.

Miss Baxter left the following day to take up vher new position at Brown’s Bay to which school she has been transfeired.
