RELEASE OF TRANSPORT VEHICLES $ MR W. SULLIVAN’S QUESTION Would the Minister in charge of the War Assets Realisation Board take immediate steps to make available to transport operators, returned servicemen and others motor vehicles now held for disposal, asked Mr W. Sullivan (National, Bay of Plenty) in notice of a question in the House of Representatives. “The practice followed is aparently, that Government departments have first choice of vehicle, then others are allowed to make application,” he said. “In order to assist all requiring vehicles, could not the Government’s selection be speeded up, thus making vehicles held eariier available?”
