August 1946 for the following work:— HEREPURU ROAD, MATATA Contract 3/46: Formation, culvevting and metalling of approximately 208 chains of roadway including the construction of a 12ft. span, wooden bridge. THE Whakatane County Council invites tenders for the purchase of six White Pine and two other trees on the road side of the Waioho Creek opposite the White Pine Bush Reserve. A condition of tender is that all tree trimmings must be disposed of to the Council’s satisfaction and no trimmings or portions of the trees must be left in the Waioho Creek.
