Questions invited. 149 EDGECUMBE YOUNG FARMERS’ CLUB The monthly meeting of. the above club will be held in Bell’s Hall on Tuesday, 16th July at 7.30 p.m. 157 FERTILIZER RATIONING APPEALS ON GROUNDS OF HARDSHIP Appeals for/additional fertilizer for topdressing purposes for the rationing year 1946/47 must be lodged with the Chairman of the District Fertilizer Committee by July 18th., 1946. Appeals will be considered only on the following bases:— 1. From those farmers who have not appealed on any previous occasion. 2. From those farmers who can produce documentary evidence to the effect that they have brought in out of virgin country during the 1945/46 rationing period areas which have been sown down to new grass. Appeals from returned servicemen from World War II will be considered at any time during the rationing year. All appeals must be in writing and applicants must state: The area of their property; the area under grass to be topdressed; the amount of their present allocation of superphosphate; the name or names of their merchants supplying their present allocation; and the name of the vendor from whom they desire to obtain their supply if the appeal should be successful.
