School Cafeteria 1: • A cafeteria which has been in progress of being established v for some time at the Gisborne High School has been successfully operating during the past three weeks and cups of cocoa at lunch time are being served to 80 pupils. Although the building is not yet finished the cafeteria has been opened on account of the recent spell of cold weather. The home science mistress and some of the senior girls are now serving hot cocoa to a number of pupils, mainly girls, who appear to appreciate the service. Crockery and containers have been provided by the Parents’ Association.
