LOCAL TALENT
CONSIDERABLE surprise has been expressed at the high standard of local talent presented at recent entertainments offered in the town. Why has not some effort been made to combine forces in this respect for the formation of an Operatic Society or some kindred organisation which would cultivate and encourage the latent gifts and musical ability in our community ?
