We have personally inspected this herd and can thoroughly recommend it to intending purchasers in search of quality dairy cattle. This herd has been build up, over a number of years, from carefully selected foundation stock and great care has been taken in the selection of herd sires with the result that this herd is almost 100 per cent.the vendors breeding. This herd has been built up on the lines of type, quality, constitution and production and Mr Tipping has made a practice of consistent heavy culling. Mr Tipping commenced herd testing' this season but owing to adverse weather conditions this was discontinued. On a normal season the first months figures indicated that the herd average would have been within 3001bs. fat. i— 1 ” t, DALGETY & CO., LTD. f. WHAKATANE
