Belated Easter Eggs
With “Better Late Than Never” as an advertising slogan, a Wellington department store last week sold a small consignment of a luxury confectionery line which has not been seen in New Zealand for several years—Easter Eggs. The eggs, the first to be manufactured by a .Dunedin firm since the war began, were of plain dark chocolate, attractively wrapped in coloured “silver” paper. Though too late to meet the seasonal demand, they sold briskly, and the nine dozen in stock were far from sufficient to meet the demand.
