MEAT BOARD
NOMINATIONS RECEIVED The Returning Officer announces that he has received the following nominations for the two vacancies for producers’ representatives on the New Zealand Meat Producers Board: D. H. Cockburn, Quenstown. J. R. L. Hammond, Rata. J. D. Ormond (Sitting Member) Waipukurau. The election will take place on the 30th August, 1946, when the delegates who will be elected to represent the various districts throughout the Dominion and who will constitute the Electoral Committee, will assemble in Wellington to consider the Twenty-Fourth Annual Report and Statement of Accounts of the Board.
As already advertised, nominations for delegates to the Electoral Committee close at the Board‘’s Office at noon on the sth July, and a postal ballot will then be conducted amongst the sheepfarmers in the districts where the nominations are ‘in excess of the number of delegates required.
