WHAKATANE LADIES’ CLUB
This week’s competition will be the first three rounds for the Appleby Cup together with an Extra Medal. The winner of the Appleby Cup will be the player who returns the three best net scores. The play will be medal-rounds.
For Wednesday the draw will be: Mrs Berg and Mrs Fogerty; Mrs Symmans and Mrs Otley; Mrs Dewar and Mrs Wilson; Mrs Dawson and Miss Black; Mrs Combes and Mrs Winstone; Mrs Sloane and Mrs Rangi; Mrs Spence and Mrs Fraser; Mrs Breckon and Mrs Jarrett; Mrs Grey and Miss Robins; Mrs McCowan and Mrs Suckling; Mrs Semmens and Mrs Donaldson; Miss Righton and Miss Reynolds; Miss Otley and Miss Hyland; Mrs Fennell and Miss Armstrong; Mrs Ker and Miss Venables.
Saturday’s draw will be: Miss Campbell and Miss Hobson; Mrs Cockerell and Miss Warren; Miss Hooper and Miss Suckling; Mrs Stone and Mrs Pearse; Miss Carter and Mrs Hay; Miss Wilson and Miss Le Leivre; Miss Gartshore and Miss Hancock. The winners of the Eclectic competition played over two weeks were: Miss Black 88—-15, 73 and Miss Robins 105—343, 71. There were no cards completed for the C section.
