The following gifts to the Whakatane Hospital over the month of May were acknowledged at yesterday’s meeting of the Board: Magazines and Books, Mrs H. Bell, Mrs N. Carter, Mrs C. R. Wilson, Mrs S. Cannell, Mrs W. H. Sisam, Messrs. Dillicar, W. Bridger and J. T. Parkinson; flowers and fruit, Mesdames Cannell, Bateson, Williams and Hawken and Ruatoki Children’s Harvest Festival; daffodil bulbs, Mrs L. Rangi apples, Messrs. P. J. Green and A. McGougan; vegetables, Rua--toki Children’s Harvest Festival and Mr J. Cannell; old linen, Mrs Norman.
