HIGHEST AVERAGE

GRADING OF CHEESE & BUTTER RESULTS .OF COMPETITION It is the practice of the Auckland Farmers’ Freezing Co. Ltd., to annually present cash prizes to the factory managers of those butter or cheese factories, the output of which secures the highest average grading points over the season. The period covers October 1 to April 30 each year, and it is a condition of the competition that at least 80 per cent, of the quantity manufactured by the facory during that period, is graded by the Government Dairy Produce Graders. The total prize money amounts to £45. The first prize is £lO, second £7 10s, third £5, for both butter and cheese.
